Inner Magic is said to stem entirely from the individual using it, despite the fact that it requires more training to be able to use. Unlike the Outer Magic, Inner Magics rely on the magical power of the individual, meaning that years of practice and building up magical strength are needed to wield it effectively.
Among the great cities, Inner magic is regarded as the highest form of magic possible, as it is controllable with the will of the individual rather than the will of the world. It is often used more by the higher classes who can afford to be schooled in the intricacies of it.
In the landscapes and wilds, however, Inner Magic is regarded with a measure of distrust, as its very essence is anathema to the more guided quality of Outer Magic. However, there are those who recognize its power and respect it rather than disliking it instinctively.
